CHICAGO, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ today announced the appointment of Jay Dipasupil as vice president, Underwriting, Errors & Omissions for Professional Services and Financial Institutions, reporting to Chris Leisz, chief underwriting officer and senior vice president. In this position, Jay will collaborate with segment leaders in ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Professional Services and Financial Institutions units to drive the portfolio management and strategy for Errors & Omissions product lines.

Jay joins ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ with more than 28 years of experience in the insurance industry. Most recently, he served as vice president, Professional Liability for the Fireman's Fund Insurance ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, where he was responsible for the company's Professional Service and Healthcare portfolios.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Columbia College at Columbia University. He has been a member of the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS) for more than 20 years and serves on the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Professional Liability Joint Underwriting Association.
