CHICAGO, Feb. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ today announced the appointment of John Mizzi to senior vice president, Commercial Field Operations, effective Feb. 16, 2016. In this role, John will be responsible for integrating and accelerating ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Commercial underwriting strategies, deepening ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s market presence and shaping a portfolio of profitable business. He will report to Kevin Leidwinger, president and chief operating officer, Commercial Insurance.
"John's proven leadership and insurance underwriting expertise make him well suited to further align and strengthen ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Commercial and Field operations to better serve our customers," Leidwinger said.
John joins ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ with 24 years of insurance experience. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and Eastern Territory field underwriting officer at Chubb, where he was responsible for the company's property and casualty business in a territory comprised of 24 offices generating in excess of $1.7 billion in revenue.
John holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration, finance from Villanova University, and a Master of Business Administration in marketing from St. John's University.
