ST. LOUIS, Sept. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --ÌýÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ today announced the appointment of Maria Cole to Assistant Vice President, Branch Production Leader for the St. Louis Branch. In this role, Cole will lead ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s St. Louis team in cultivating deeper relationships with producers, accelerating ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s market presence, and shaping a portfolio of mutual profitable business. She reports to Steve Wachtel, Senior Vice President and Northern Zone Officer, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½.
"Maria's strong leadership and underwriting experience, combined with her deep understanding of the St. Louis market, make her the ideal candidate to lead the St. Louis Branch and our customers to sustainable profitable success," Wachtel said.
Cole has been with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ for 18 years, joining ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ in 1998 as Underwriting Director for the company's Michigan Branch. Most recently, she served as Assistant Vice President of Commercial Underwriting for ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Kansas City and St. Louis Branches.
Cole succeeds Matt Hartigan, Branch Vice President, who previously had responsibility for both the St. Louis and Kansas City Branches. He will now focus entirely on leading ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½'s Kansas City Branch.
